- Description
Project Aavaran gives us this opportunity to serve poor people, sadhus and sadhaks (spiritual practitioners) living and meditating in the Haridwar, Kashi and old aged widowed women of Vrindavan. It has been a glorious and unbroken tradition in India of yogis and sadhus meditating in those places for self-purification and human well-being. Being in the lap of divine and in a rarefied atmosphere helps them focus and breathe in a way that induces meditation and devotion. They are in their own intense sadhana (spiritual practice) and not expecting anything from anyone despite the extreme weather and food scarcity.
Sadhus have given up all worldly comforts, dedicating their lives to prayer and selfless service. We want to support these meditators in their endeavor and invite and encourage you all also to do whatever you can to support these noble souls by supplying them clothes jackets, boots, blankets etc. we can make it easier for them to fulfill their mission. Our Trust Provides and distributes these items among them by our dedicated volunteers .
